New everything

It's a new month and time for a new, well, everything! I've almost finished my 2007 pics so I was planning to start 1 new album and have decided to start 4 or 5 instead. I'm going to do an '08 family album but am also going to start working on a Book of Me, a Book of Us (general family stuff), a portrait album, and a few other little projects as well.

I've also started taking my first online class! It is at http://www.feelingscrappy.com/. The class is all about SKETCHES!!!! I would be lost scrappin if I didn't have my sketches so this class is right up my ally.

I feel kind of dorky that I was able to do this layout in just under an hour from the instructors posting the layout. I've had these photos of my dad for just a few weeks. They were taken on one of my mom & dad's first dates. Obviously, since my parents have been divorced for over 10 years and both are remarried my mom had no use for the photos any longer. I still need to journal but wanted it to be very special so I'll be doing several rough drafts before I put it on the layout.

Basic Grey paper, Rock Star epoxy letters (my dad), Spare Parts letters (fred), liquid chalk.
